have shown that overexpression of cuticle-degrading serine
protease genes in nematode-trapping fungi can increase
nematicidal activity, enhance nematode capture and kill
rates, and boost the number of infection structures (Ahman
et al. 2002; Yang et al. 2011b). However, previous research in
