Tourism and hospitality kinda go hand in hand. Think about it. If you travel somewhere on vacation and the people at the hotels and restaurants in the area aren't polite or kind and good at what they do will you go back, or recommend those locations to a friend? Probably not. There are plenty of places in the world that count specifically on tourism to sustain them. Even if they're tourist season is only a few months a year. That few months is the revenue that keeps them alive for the entire year. Accordingly, they have to be somewhat hospitable and cater to those situations.
