As far as constraint is concerned, we certainly rely on BTL to coordinate arrangement in Thailand. In case of in-transit handling from/to Lao PDR, I think we need to compete against Japanese forwarders in terms of rate quotation.
I do not worry about operation to support customers. Another constraint is response, especially inquiries which BTL is not so strong. I always copy my message in cc and you probably know that my request is left for more than one week.
In order to achieve target, I am not sure if it works or not, but in order to increase sales revenue, we continue to look for local staff to cover local market. This will increase expenses which were not really considered in our cash flow forecast.
As far as I am concerned, I will coordinate any shipment requested from not only current customers but also potential customers including Sankyo. You can request President Fujiki to support exploring more opportunities for cross-border business from their customers in Japan. I will continue to serve customers here including small-middle sized logistics companies, trading houses as well as request from BTL if any. My target here is regular business although I am working on spot business without any hesitation (project, breakbulk cargo etc.).
As you may be aware, my customers are happy to work with me right now because of communication and my expertise so that they do not worry about logistics. However, this makes our operation a bit difficult because I can not take it over Thai staff. I am always a middle man between our customers and operation staff. However, I think this is quite normal, otherwise there is no meaning that I am working for BSG.
Today, President Fujiki sent me message, asking for any issues to be discussed with you. I just mentioned my concern about cash flow issue. I do not think you do not really tell him about our internal issues but you can talk about "how to achieve target and its action plan" with him. I think this may create more support from Sankyo.
