As a leading designer and manufacturer of electrostatic measurement and control
instruments for over 40 years, Trek, Inc. strives to meet customer expectations by
providing high-quality equipment at fair prices and with reasonable delivery times.
While the majority of Trek products are manufactured in-house, we rely on outsourcers
for some high volume items such as the Model 821HH Contacting Voltmeter. We are
currently in the process of relocating our SMT Outsource Manufacturer into our facility,
which will significantly improve delivery times, and will allow us to provide timely
support for parts and quality issues. During this transition, as would be expected with a
move from one location to another location, they have fallen a bit behind on providing
finished pcbs. Although the move is still in progress, sections of their manufacturing
processes have come back on line. This has allowed them to finish some of these pcbs
needed to complete the manufacturing of the Model 821HH. We expect to have units
built up, tested, burned-in and shipped within the next week or two. A more accurate
date will be provided within the next few days.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and distributors, and we
expect to restore manufacturing back to normal lead times by the end of this month.
