Northeastern people are unhappy while central region people are very happy since the military junta seized power from civilian government two years ago.
This was the finding of a private university released to the media today.
According to the poll conducted by Rangsit University from a total of 3,500 people in all regions of the country during May 9 to 15, people living in the Northeast have the least happiness during the two years period after the military take-over.
They gave an average score of 5.84 out of 10 when they were asked to rate their happiness following the military coup in May 2014
But for people living in the central region, they were very happy when asked about his happy they were after the military junta came in power.
They gave an average score of 7.39 out of 10 about happiness.
For people who said “not bad” when asked whether they are happy, the average score given was 6.65.
On returning happiness to the people campaign, most people polled said the Prime Minister’s Office was successful in the campaign, scoring 8.25, followed by the Ministry of Defense 8.13, and Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives 8.02.
