• Corporate organization design that integrates function with service/product delivecy;
• When the corporate business environment is changing rapidly;
• When the span of control is large and managers have a need to
communicate frequently on a fotmal basis;
• When the managerial staff is small and must oversee multiple projects;
• When the FM organization is highly involved in corporate business
planning and must respond rapidly through project vehicles;
• When FM staff is limited and must work on multiple projects;
• Where decision-making is decentralized; and
• When a headquarters organization is responsible for multiple field projects.
