The simplest way to find out when you will be paid is to go to your Payments Report. Statement View will show you the estimated amount you will be paid and the date we will initiate payment to your bank.
Here are the details.
There are a few factors to consider when learning the ins and outs of your payment plan.
Settlement period: Your settlement period is determined by your selling plan. Your account will settle 14 days after you register your selling account, and it will continue to settle every 14 days thereafter.
The amount of money you are paid will change depending on your orders, but you can count on either being paid or charged on the last day of your settlement period as long as your account is in good standing. You can see the specific dates of your settlement period in your Payments Report.
Reserve period: To ensure a safe and secure experience for buyers and sellers, we may hold money from an order as a reserve until we know the buyer received the item they ordered in the condition promised. Once you build a history of delivering an excellent buyer-seller experience, we will re-evaluate the time period of the length of your reserve.
Once you’ve made your first sale, you can see if you have a reserve by going to your Payments Report. In Statement View, you’ll see your Unavailable balance amount. Click on that, and you’ll be taken to a page that tells you why your money is being reserved.
Account, order, and performance issues: You must have valid bank account information and credit card information in your seller account to be paid. Your money may be held if a buyer returns an item they bought from you or if they file a claim or chargeback against you. Your money may also be held if you are not meeting your performance requirements. Check the Message Center and Performance notifications for emails from Amazon if you expected a payment but did not receive one.
Want to get paid faster?
Be quick to ship: Ship your items quickly, and confirm your orders as shipped. When we know that the buyer has received their order and is happy with the item, we’ll initiate your payment within 7 days.
Provide valid tracking numbers: Always provide valid tracking numbers when confirming shipment. This gives us – and more importantly the buyer – the peace of mind in knowing that their package is on the way. It also gives us the opportunity to see exactly when an order was delivered, so we may not need to wait the full 7 days to initiate your payment.
Still not seeing your money?
Payments between us, our bank, and your bank take time. It can take up to 5 business days for your money to appear in your bank account after we’ve initiated payment, although it is usually sooner than that. If your money does not appear in your bank account after 5 business days, you can contact your bank to research the Federal ACH Trace ID. The Trace ID is displayed in a message at the top of your
