A twelve (12) - week feeding trial was conducted to
evaluate the inclusion levels of Moringa Oleifera
leaf meal for laying hens at two dietary levels of 0%
and 10% respectively. One hundred and twenty
(120), Yaffer laying hens already four months in lay
were divided into two groups of sixty (60) hens each
and randomly assigned to the two treatment diets in
completely randomized design (CRD). Each group
was further sub-divided into three (3) replicates of
twenty hens per replicate and housed in a deep litter
pen measuring 5 X 10m.
There were no significant differences (P >0.05) in
body weight gain, Haugh unit, shell thickness,
Albumen and Yolk indices, horizontal and oblong
circumferences and egg weight among the treatment
