V. anguillarum JJ isolated froma diseased olive flounder fingerling in
a natural outbreak of vibriosis was grown in Luria-Bertani (LB, Difco)
medium containing 1.5% NaCl at 27 °C. For the culture of Escherichia
coli χ7213 (Δasd), 50 μg/ml of diaminopimelic acid (DAP, Sigma) was
added into LB medium
