The picture above demonstrates the issue. As soon as the temperature (green) raises, our pressure on the dry side (in the vacuum line) (red), raises as well. Unfortunately, the response from the wet side is not anticipating on this change at the same time, causing the level to drop by an equal amount. As soon as the temperature drop, the vacuum increase and the level shoots up again.
On Monday morning I will sit together with Leo, and afterwards with the core team, to discuss our next actions. For now, I would like to propose that we implement the new differential pressure transmitter in the line as soon as possible. The capillary tubes are too short to cover the current connections, but we may investigate placing the bottom capillary in on the side of the balance tank. This will give us a more narrow bandwidth, but the benefit is that the impact of water/product supply vs discharge on the bandwidth is the same for the entire range due to the fact that the volume is per % is equal over the entire range, allowing for steadier PID control.
The product trial will not take place before Wednesday. I expect to be more specific on Monday.
