Listen, I’m just as eager to get Sasusaku moments as you guys are, but really when you think about it:
Sasuke & Sakura had more development together in the manga than Naruto & Hinata did as a romantic couple.
The anime is still ongoing and we haven’t even hit all of our favorite Sasusaku moments from the manga yet.
Most of the War was showcasing Sakura’s love for Sasuke.
Sasuke finally confessed his feelings for Sakura at the end of the manga with the forehead poke.
They got married and had a daughter, confirming that: They had sex, they kissed, and they are living together as Husband & Wife.
There are countless of filler episodes that also showcase some Sasusaku moments if we’re really desperate to get some romance.
I’m not saying that we should stop hoping for Sasusaku in the final Naruto movie, I’m just saying that NaruHina does deserve some more material to work with.
I’m not giving up hope for Sasusaku. I’m being rational and keeping my head by not trusting spoilers up on Tumblr. I don’t care if people are seeing it right now in Japan, until I have a copy of this movie in my hands and I can watch it over and over again: I’m not gonna give up hope.
