My Dearest Mickey,
How are you? It must be late morning there. If I remember correctly, you are 13 hours ahead of me.
What kinds of books do you like to read ? What subjects do you enjoy the most?
Do you have a bicycle? I have two but I have not been able to ride them since early November due to the weather. The snow and ice make it impossible. The very cold temperatures are difficult as well. I have a picture of one of my bikes that I will send to you.
Have you seen any good movies lately? Many of my friends have seen American Sniper and seem to like it. I'm waiting for the movie Project Almanac.
When I used to travel to Brazil because of the company that I worked for at the time, I met a few Brazilians that had traveled to the USA a few times. When I asked them what they missed most about the USA they would tell me, the pancakes! The pancakes in Brazil are not that good. They are tough, their butter tastes different, and instead of maple syrup like we use, they use a honey with a very different flavor. So they are right that the pancakes here are much much better.
Do you like sushi? I have not had it in quite some time. Back in Texas, I would have it once or twice a week. I like it with a touch of wasabi and soy sauce.
Do you take any vitamins or supplements on a regular basis?
I am looking forward to us having discussions about Buddhism. I want to learn from you. I think that we can learn from each other.
The weather was grey and misty most of the day but it turned to snow after the sun went down.
Mickey, your pictures today were a welcomed surprise. You look amazing.
I hope that your day is going well. Mickey, I want you to know that you give me joy and happiness.
As soon as I move and complete my relocation, we will be discussing specific travel times and completing the arrangements together.
You have been so understanding and I appreciate it very much. Qualities such as this will serve us well. I am a very patient person as well.
Thank you for being there for me.
With love,
Jerry
