I. INTRODUCTION
A large variety of different schemes have been
applied to speed sensorless vector control of induction
motor. The model reference adaptive system (MRAS)
based method is a representative to construct the
sensorless system. The error between the reference
model and the adjustable model is used to drive an
adaptation mechanism that estimates the rotor speed [ 11,
[2]. The advantages of sensorless drives are clear: the
mechanical setup and maintenance are less troublesome,
and the reliability, especially in hostile environments, is
improved if the mechanical transducer is removed.
This paper introduces a new vector control based on
a PI model reference adaptive system for induction
motor sensorless drives. The motor speed is estimated
based on the difference between two flnx estimators.
The simulation results and experimental
implementation results are given at the end of the paper
