While formation of PAIgG
may play a part in the initiation of thrombocytopenia via both
of fragment crystallizable receptors- and complement receptorsmediated
platelets removal by the macrophages and complement
mediated platelets lysis, development of platelets associated
immunoglobulin M (PAIgM) can also play a part in the initiation
of thrombocytopenia of thrombocytopenia through the same
mechanism (excluding the use of FC receptors) based on
immunoglobulin M (IgM) pentamer's function.
