The analytical findings demonstrate that buying firms' environmental
collaboration with suppliers positively and significantly
impacts their adoption of green purchasing. This result is consistent
with the previous literature, and buying firm adoption of green
purchasing can be raised by increasing their environmental collaboration
activities with suppliers, such as working together to reduce
the environmental impact of their activities and achieving environmental
goals collectively. Besides the traditional buyer–supplier
relationship, buyers and suppliers can cooperate in developing new
materials and products to meet buyer needs, including environmental
and green products.
