'That's 6.' Blake thought to herself. She stared behind her at the pile of Beowolves that she had taken down and she began walking away and jumped back into the trees. As she went through them should noticed other students taking down Grimm. How she wished she could find her team but it wasn't allowed and they'd be disqualified for it all. She just hoped everyone would make it out OK, though her last thoughts lingered on Yang and herself being able to survive more than the others. Before wasting any more time she shot through the trees again in search of more Grimm.

Jaune was nervous. He hadn't fought without his team since the incident in Forever Fall and even with Pyrrha's training he didn't enjoy the idea of being left to his own devices. He just wandered through the forest until he stumbled upon a lake which he enjoyed taking some fresh water from. As he stood back up and prepared to leave he heard a growling noise behind him and saw a wild Borbatusk major staring him down. Noticing behind it that their were two more borbatusks joining it Jaune made the decision to fight back and take the major first. He thought that if he killed the leader the others would back off or at least fight less so he's have a better shot. The ensuing fight left Jaune dodging rolls and grapples from the Borbatusks and slashing at them with his sword proved fruitless.
He then remembered the fight in Professor Port's class where Weiss had killed a Borbatusk and remembered that their underbellies had no armor and was the weakest point. He quickly dodged around the major and grabbed a spike jutting out from it's back. Using it to hold him steady Jaune practically rode the Borbatusk into a tree and forced it onto it's back before repeatedly stabbing at the exposed belly to kill it. It began smoking and the other two Borbatusks backed off before they both started spinning and rolling at Jaune. Using the same maneuver on the both of them Jaune finished off the two Borbatusks and left the water hole quickly.

Herald heard a loud scream and cry for help coming from his left but the voice didn't sound familiar. Either way he decided to investigate and came to a clearing wear a young girl was thrown to the ground by a large Beowolf. She looked over while pinned by the creature and saw Herald staring at her and she began pleading with him to help. Herald stood there watching her and the Beowolf paused it's assault to watch Herald as if to judge his movements. Herald turned his attention to a weapon near his feet and noticed a large sword glimmering in the sunlight.
"Please, get me out of here. This thing will kill me you gotta help me out." The girl begged. She watch Herald pick up the sword and stare at it. Herald moved the sword around as if to admire the blade. The Beowolf just stared on still pinning the girl to the forest floor. The sword ignited suddenly causing Herald to jump in surprise. The beowolf jumped off the girl and dashed at Herald. Herald held the sword steady before simply dodging the beowulf’s claw and cutting its head clean off. “Hey, thanks for that. I know we shouldn't team up but you seriously saved my a-” the girl was cut off as Herald punctured her chest with the sword. She gazed down to the wound that was leaking blood before looking back to Herald and choked out the word “Why?”
“This weapon does have a variety of uses.” Herald said coldly. He activated the flames inside of the sword and the girl was instantly ignited. As she burned a beeping noise indicated a kill in Herald’s scroll. “So that made it into your game huh Ozpin?” Herald muttered before copying the sword and throwing the original into the dirt.
Then he heard more screaming.
And he recognized this voice well.
Too well.
