The Société des Lunetiers (SL) opened its first foreign subsidiary in Hatton Garden in London, opening a permanent shop there in 1881. At that time, Paris and London were influential around the world. With a presence in both capitals, SL developed exports to Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America.
