Add your dirty clothes and Surf excel detergent to the drum of the machine.
If you’re using a front-loading fully automatic machine, follow the manufacturers’ instructions to add the detergent to the special drawer. If not, you can put your detergent directly into the drum. Follow the instructions on your chosen detergent to select the right dosage.
Then, just select the right setting for your wash and the machine will do the rest.
The secret here is to read your garments’ care labels: these indicate the temperature of the wash, and the composition of the fabric, allowing you to select your wash cycle accordingly. As a general rule, dark clothes will want a low temperature wash, and white clothes can handle higher temperatures. Anything woollen or delicate will benefit from a low temperature, “Hand wash” cycle. Read the section below on settings for further details.
