The CF test fails to reject the null hypothesis even for large samples when the population
variances are unequal. This is a serious problem, especially for biomedical
experiments in which one does not usually have large samples. In such applications
each data point can be so vital and expensive. Alternative methods are developed
duetothisproblem. Some of these test statistics’ distribution is not known and the
p-value can be found by simulation (Weerahandi, 1995; Weerahandi, 2004).
