Sufficient efficacy against spores of DSM 4312 at 10 C could only
be detected in the qualitative suspension test with concentrations
of 3.0% and 60 min (Tables 5 and 6). Because of a higher resistance
at 10 C, DSM 4312 was additionally tested with higher concentrations
(3.0%, 4.0%, 5.0% and 10.0%) in the qualitative suspension
test. Reductions achieved at these concentrations are demonstrated
in Table 6. If the disinfection was done at 10 C for 30 min, concentrations
of 4.0% (without protein) or even 5.0% (with protein)
were necessary for negative results in both trials (Table 6).
