The conductivity of the solution depends on its polarity, viscos-ity and the form of molecules and ions (monomeric or associated)present in it. At the TX-100 and CTAB mixture concentration lower than that at which their micelles can be formed, decreasesin the range of ethanol concentration in which it is present inthe monomeric form in the solution. Above ethanol CAC (TablesS13–S18 and Figs. 8, S16–S18, dashed line corresponds to ethanolCAC), changes only slightly. It probably results from the fact thatnot only the viscosity but also the degree of CTAB dissociation, which decreases with the ethanol concentration increase, affects values, and therefore the values in “pure” ethanol are consid-erably smaller than those in water.
