On the contrary, this struggle is pervasive in our society and especially on college campuses where sleep is often disregarded as a luxury or a convenience. The way college students generally neglect healthy sleep habits leads to severe physical and psychological consequences; in order to address these destructive penalties sleep needs to become a higher priority on the college campus.
