gives the percentage of time
that a player goes to showdown and wins the hand given that
he went to showdown in the first place. Mostly, this number
hould be inversely correlated with the 'went to showdown'
number. The less a player gets to showdown, the stronger hi
showdown hands will tend to be, and vice versa.
For mo t players, this statistic has a fairly narrow range
between about 47 and 53 percent. Players with a winning
percentage above 53 are only trying to get to showdown with
their stronger hands. You can bet aggressively against these
players and push them out of many pots. On the other hand,
players with a winning percentage under 47 percent are
getting to showdown too often with weaker hands. You
probably can't bluff them much, but with a good hand, you
can certainly bet for value.
