We found that nanostructured PbO2 electrodes were able to
deliver a discharge capacity of 190 mAh g
1
at 1C that was maintained for over 1000 cycles. Discharge curves show that most of the
process occurred at a constant voltage. Thesefindings are very
encouraging because they were never found before in commercial
batteries, even at lower C-rate. Besides, these performances were
obtained without performing any curing and formation process
that are, instead, necessary for conventional plates
