Like come on, let’s be real here.
We know the only reason IH still gets as much flack as it does is because its a legitimate threat. If detractors were as indifferent and dismissive as they claim to be, they’d act accordingly. They wouldn’t give the pairing or its fandom the time of day. But instead there are websites and blogs and forums created for the sole purpose of shaming the IH pairing and its’ fanbase, essays upon essays written about how terrible the pairing is, people who literally spend more time tearing into IH than enjoying their actual OTP.
Like for real. Come on. Let’s stop pretending like IHs are just “seriously misguided” or “delusional”, or that IH itself is still a “crack pairing”. Let’s stop pretending we’re the ones with the problem. Everyone knows how it really is.
