. Previous studies with unpackaged cherry tomatoes
showed a weight loss of 10% after 25 of storage at 5 C and
atmosphere relative humidity (RH) from 80 to 85% (data not
shown), suggesting that there was dehydration of the fruit during
postharvest storage. In the present study, using packaging, the
weight losses after 25 days of storage of MAP and control samples
were around 0.26% and 0.18%, respectively.
