In order to achieve the strategic objectives of improving
overall student achievement and learning-centered processes,
SHSD recognizes that the Curriculum/Instruction Design and
Delivery Process needs to be controlled, monitored, and overseen
throughout the complete cycle of teaching and learning.
The CISS Division, departments, and all faculty and crossdiscipline
teaching teams use the CI Management Process to
ensure that CI performance conforms to requirements and
expectations. This process, introduced in 1999, represents an
improvement over previous CI management methods and a
refinement in integration with other data-driven school improvement
processes
