FOUNDATION
Cake make-up is applied with a damp (not wet) sponge. Stroke the face lightly until the whole area is covered with a thin film of paint. You do not need to powder.
Creme make-up is applied with the fingers, brush or sponge. Use whichever you prefer, but only a thin layer to colours the skin. Greasepaint in a tube or jar is applied on your finger fips. Your face should be as greaseless as possible beforehand.
If using the hard greasepaint sticks, mix colours way of ensuring the colours than blending together random blobs applied directly to your face. First get your face slightly greasy with a film of cold cream. When you have mixed the desired tone, rob your palms together and transfer the paint to your face in a thin layer using a smooth wiping action.
Whichever sort of foundation you use make sure that you reach every part of the face, right up to the hairline and down the neck.
