7. Allowed Leaves
7.1 Subject to working continuously for one full year, the Employee shall be entitled to annual vacation with pay for 12 days per year. The leave request must be approved by immediate boss. Any leave must be taken in the year in which the employee is entitled to take such leave. If leave is not so taken the leave shall be forfeited.
7.2 The Employee shall be entitled to sick leaves for actual illness with pay, not to exceed 30 days per year.
7.3 In the event that the Employee cannot perform the duties because of his/her illness or incapacity for a period of more than 30 days, it shall be deemed that he/she is “permanently disabled”, and the Company shall be entitled to adopt any of the following options:
(a) The Company may stop paying salary, or even other benefits as deemed appropriate.
(b) The Company may terminate this Agreement as specified in Clause 9.4 of this Agreement.
7.4 Both parties agree that if the number of days specified in Clause 7.1, Clause 7.2 and Clause 7.3 are less than those proscribed by the laws of Thailand, such number of days shall be adjusted in accordance with such law.
