2. The light-pipe and the experimental device
The daylight performance of light-pipes has also been studied by Oakley et al. (2000). They outlined the daylight performance of the light-pipes in several locations at Beacon Anthropogenic activities, especially the burning of
Energy Ltd. and West Beacon Farm. A light-pipe system is made up of a skylight dome, a reflective tube, and a diffuser assembly. The dome should be UV and impact resistant, it protects the tube from dust and rain as shown in Fig. 1. An optical device designed to capture and to redirect the sky radiation is located inside the pipe.
