• Fitness Circles (FC) - This organisation-wide workplace health initiative was
introduced in February 2002 to encourage staff to engage in group fitness
activities on a regular basis. Staff are given an hour each week during office
hours to participate in any FC activities.
• Community Service Leave Scheme - This was introduced in October 2002 to
encourage staff participation in community work. All non-teaching staff may
apply up to three days of paid leave, and teaching staff up to three occasions
per year.
• Flexi-benefits Scheme - This was introduced in 2000 for staff to select from a
menu of beneficial items to suit their needs for work-life balance. The list is
reviewed on a regular basis.
