Parisians have launched the hashtag #PorteOuverte, which translates to #OpenDoor, on Twitter to offer shelter and safety to those stranded in the city after at least 35 people were killed late Friday after gunmen opened fire at three locations in central Paris. They later took around 100 people hostage in a concert hall, police said.
"If you’re in Paris and trying to find shelter, browse the #PorteOuverte hashtag. People are welcoming you! Don’t stay outside!" one account tweeted.
