While the self-esteem programs in the previous studies were focused on infants, low-income bracket school children and students with learning disabilities, the findings of the previous studies were consistent with those of the current study in terms of improving the participants' self-esteem. Based on the findings of this study, the self-esteem program would be meaningful in terms
of increasing the self-esteem in school children and improving the sense of positive peer attachment by offering a time of desirable friendship.
