our long-term goal is to understand how spirituality can contribute to more productive work organizations. Although this article does not address performance issues, it is an attempt to identify the construct of spirituality at work by identifying the dimensions of that construct. Clearly, more work needs to be done in regard to convergent and discriminant validity issues. we feel, however, that presentation of conceptualization and preliminary empirical evidence of the construct is a way to initiate a scholarly conversation about spirituality in the workplace.
