Houston Cancer Doctor Gives Patients False Hopes
A family of a brain tumor patient says Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski gave them false hopes. The Houston internist offered the Cotto family an alternative cancer treatment for $25,000 for their six-year-old son, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Instead, the family was left heart broken when their son passed away after receiving the treatment.
The unconventional doctor developed what he calls a miracle drug dubbed as "antineoplastons" which uses blood and urine. Burzynski said he has already used the medication on 8,000 patients since 1977.
