Manchester United target Bastian Schweinsteiger advised to stay at Bayern
Brazil star set to snub Chelsea and Man United for £25m Bayern move
According to reports from The Daily Mail yesterday evening, Shaktar Donetsk forward Douglas Costa is on the verge of completing a £25million move to Bayern Munich.
The 24 year-old is one of the Ukrainian outfit’s more noteworthy talents and impressed in the Champions League earlier this term, recording one goal and one assist in eight appearances whilst averaging 2.5 successful dribbles per match.
He’s also emerged as a regular for Brazil following their failures at last summer’s World Cup, picking up eight caps since his international debut for the Selecao seniors in November 2014.
Earlier this month, four Premier League sides were linked to Costa by The Express; namely, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
But it appears the attacking midfielder has now rebuffed interest from his English suitors, following reports that Shaktar and Bayern Munich have reached a ‘verbal agreement’ over a £25million fee.
According to The Mail, Costa will sign a four-year contract at the Allianz Arena as soon as Brazil’s involvement in the Copa America comes to an end.
