Because Hyatt has a large range of 10 differentiated brands that are associated with different consumer needs, there is some confusion is the marketplace about what Hyatt actually is and what they offer. There is not a public awareness of the diversity of brands and this makes it difficult to differentiate and market their services separately. The Hyatt can diminish their weaknesses to take advantage of the opportunities at hand by making genuine relationships with travel advisors, which they are already doing. By partnering with the travel advisors, the travel advisors can direct their clients to the Hyatt and inform their clients on all the different brands within the company that will fulfill their needs and wants. Partnering with the travel advisors will increase brand awareness within all the brands the Hyatt has to offer.
