IV. CONCLUSIONS
Microstructural analysis of welded silicon- and aluminum-
based TRIP steels shows the formation of
complex inclusions in the FZs of high-Si and high-Al
TRIP steels. These inclusions are found to be comprised
of several substructural features with different compositions.
The formation of allotriomorphic ferrite is
found at the fusion line and the grain boundaries of
high-Al steel welds. Partitioning of aluminum to the
