Track 1 (Prologue): Masaki's hired some security people to change the locks on their house after the break-in incident with their father. Naoto muses over how his father can spend so much money on his mistress's sister and not care about his own children. He also wonders why their father hates them so much. (I wonder if this will actually have some impact on the story instead of just being an off-hand mention? I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that Masaki is often mentioned as having a foreigner's eyes/hair colour? I mean, it could just be an asthetics thing just for the sake of making Masaki seem more attractive, but for all I know it could be a hint... maybe something trashy like the mom had an affair or something. Though I hope not. ^_^;;) Naoto then has a monologue at the end of the track which sounds rather heartbreaking to me. i_i While he seems positive, and says that after Masaki completely rejected their father (he "disowned" the dad and told him to never come around them ever again), they should take the chance to make it a new start, and that he (Naoto) should look forward to tomorrow, but yet it just seems so sad to me because it's tinged with all the irreversible things that have happened - most especially his continuing taboo relationship with Masaki. Not to mention that since this is an angsty BL story, Naoto's life is just going to get more screwed up. ^_^;;
Track 2: A guy named Masaki Ryoji comes up to Sayaka and tries to interview her about the recent incidents involving her family. After her friends help her chase him away, an upset Sayaka thinks to herself that it's unfair that Naoto has Masaki to protect her, while she has nothing. (Oh, Sayaka, as much as I want to like you since you're a rare female character in a BL story, you are getting SO DISLIKABLE. Especially since I HATE characters who always blame others for their own misfortune and never bother to do anything to try to change their own situation. While I don't entirely blame you from wanting to escape from your family, since I think it's a reasonable response to your discovery, DON'T YOU DARE martyr yourself and begrudge Naoto what little comfort he has especially considering the crap he's been through.)
Track 3: Naoto is approached by a teacher (apparently the head of his level) to go to the principal's office. His friends think it's weird since it's an important enough matter that the head of the level asks him instead of the head teacher of his class. After Naoto leaves, they discuss how Naoto is the type who will care about others at the expense of himself. They go on to talk about he situation of the other guys who were involved in the attacks, with the third year having to take a break from school due to his injuries and the first year having PTSD. They say how Naoto is strong (since he seems to have mostly recovered from the attacks) and that the best thing for them would be to watch over him from the side. (Naoto has really nice friends. I like Nakano. ^_^)
Track 4: In the principal's office, Naoto meets Nogami's mom. Nogami is the first year who developed PSTD and who refuses to step out of the house to the point that even the psychiatrist he's seeing has to go to his house. The mom wants to ask how Naoto overcame his experience. The principal lets slip that even though Nogami's mom had asked him previously he refused to let them meet since naoto hadn't fully recovered... especially because Masaki had called the school to ask them to take care of him. (Of course masaki hadn't mentioned this to Naoto) Naoto thinks to himself that he doesn't want to talk abut the event since it'll make him recall it. Nogami's mom is seeking advice, but Naoto thinks to himself that only reason why he wanted to come to school was because he didn't want to stay at home all day and school was the only place where he can feel like a normal high school student. He wanted some space from Yuuta and Masaki. But he also thinks that he was also really happy when he found out Masaki wasn't only using him as an object of lust but also really needed him. (Masaki: "I love you, Nao. I love you, Nao, so I want to let your body and your heart become mine. As long as you're by my side, I can do my best [lit. work hard], so...... let me feel that you belong to me.") In any case, he thinks his advice to Nogami won't be of any help. Naoto tells the mom that if the people by the sidelines try too hard, it actually puts more pressure on a person. He's heard that the third year was hurt so badly that he may not be able to come to school for awhile, and while he and Nogami weren't hurt as badly, it also means that people may think that they were "lucky" to get off so lightly when in actual fact the unchageable fact is that they've gone through a traumatising experience and are still hurt deeper than most people can imagine. He says that words that aren't meant unkindly can still have the effect of hurting the person it's meant to cheer up. Nogami's mom completely misses the point and keeps harping on the fact that Naoto managed to recover. (Naoto: "But I am me, and Nogami is Nogami.") He thinks that no matter what outsiders do, as long as the victim himself refuses to face his hurt, it's no use. He tells her he goes to school because it helps him not to think of uncecessary thing, and she asks insensitively, "Even if people look at you oddly?" The she goes on to wail about why even though both boys suffered the same thing, only Naoto came out of it fine. She wants to know why he's different. And ironically, there's an implication that she thinks he's "lucky" to come out of the experience fine. Again Naoto emphasises that they're different people and there's no use comparing and thinks secretly to himself that her overworrying is probably what makes Nogami's condition worse. As he leaves the mom screeches for any bit of help he can give and being the nice guy he is, Naoto says he'll think about it.
(GOD, I HATE NOGAMI'S MOTHER!!!!!!! She is SUCH an insensitive bitch! My annoyance with Sayaka previously can not match up to how much I HATE Nogami's mother for being so selfish and not actually caring whether or not she hurts Naoto with her insensitive words. >_<)
Track 5: Yuuta thinks to himself that Naoto is late coming home. And he actually decides to make some rice for dinner! ("Yuuta: If... I want to do it, I can do it.") And grumbles to himself that Naoto should have called especially since with the recent incidents he (Yuuta) would get worried.
Track 6: The level head (Who's called Tachibana) tells Naoto that he's very mature - most people would be selfish, but Naoto really thinks for other people's sake. He tells Naoto it's ok if he wants to reject Nogami's mom's request outright, and asks Naoto what he thinks friendship is. He says Naoto wouldn't have thought of wanting to come to school if he hadn't had good friends. Whereas Nogami as a first year probably wouldn't have such good friends he could rely on. (And then comes this following scene which I find VERY interesting...)
Naoto: To be frank, when I first came back to school, everyone was very clearly apprehensive around me.... it made me feel a bit uncomfortable, and for a moment I wondered if I came back too early. But Nakano very naturally told me, "Welcome back!"
Tachibana: Is it class 2's Nakano Daiki-kun?
Naoto: Sensei, you actually know his full name!
Tachibana: I am Class 2's Vice-form teacher after all.
Naoto: Ah, that's true, how silly of me.
(Though I may be reading too much into things, it makes me wonder whether there's anything going on with Nakano and Tachibana. XD I mean, it seems like a very random thing to keep in, especially in a drama cd where they usually have to cut things out of the script, right?)
Then they talk lightly about how big of a commotion Masaki made when he sent Naoto to school. (Naot: "I made him put me down before arriving at the school though."--> My dear Naoto, you miss the point! XD) Tachibana mentions that when Masaki was in high school, he was known as a kendo champion nicknamed "Seiryuu of the East". Naoto is sad to think that Masaki gave up university and kendo for him and Yuuta. And he also thinks that Tachibana doesn't look solely at Masaki's appearance, but looks beyond that, and so he decides to ask him a question he's been wondering for a while - if he thinks that someone's psychiatric pain can be lessened by another. Naoto wonders if it was his and Masaki's fault that Yuuta wasn't cured. Tachibana thinks it's worth trying to help even if you might not get the result you desire. Naoto asks if he thinks that means the result is not only important but also the process, and the teacher affirms this, saying that while the result might be fact, it may not be the truth. (Tachibana: "Even if there's only one fact, there won't be only one truth. one view of this is that the differences between values may twist (lit. worsen it) the truth of the matter.") Naoto flashbacks to his mother's supposed suicide and Masaki saying she didn't commit suicide. He thinks that Masaki thinks of it as an accident, Yuuta thinks it's Masaki's fault, and as for Naoto himself...he recalls Sayaka telling their mom to go die. He thinks they may never know the truth. And he thinks teacher might be telling him that since Yuuta keeps all his thoughts to himself and refuses to say anything, nothing changes. Tachibana says the importance is not to think of the outcome, but to "do your best". (With the latter said in English, which I thought was rather random. :p)
Track 7: When Naoto returns home, he's greeted by Yuuta who scolds him for being late and is shocked since Yuuta normally won't come out of his room unless Naoto knocks on his door first. Naoto realises it's really late and worries that they'll have to wait really long to eat. (Does he take one hour to cook rice? 0_o I understand if cooking the side dishes takes a while, but wouldn't he be cooking rice at t
