It seems Thailand is concerned about restaurants around the world that claim to be Thai restaurants but owned not by Thai people but people from other countries. And that some of these restaurants are serving tom yam kung that is not up to Thai standards.
So they have had a robot built that will taste test foods to make sure they are up to standards. The robot called E-delicious was launched this week in Bangkok and there are plans to send these machines to countries that have a lot of so called Thai restaurants to taste test the food.
Here we have no less then about 12 Thai restaurants and I am sure many are not owned by Thai people but even if they were it is not always easy to get the same ingredients as you would in Thailand.
And how do I know about this robot? I READ A LOT.
