We are currently advertising to rapidly fill roles in our expanded project team for this contract. These roles are fixed term until September 2012.
In this role as a Food and Beverage Coordinator you will deputize and support the Food and Beverage Manager with implementing the systems and processes to deliver the feeding programme for the 21,000 security staff during Gamestime period and the run up to the Games. Ensuring the welfare and commitments are delivered, whilst supporting the Feeding Manager in developing the programme for the venues and various accomodation sites.
Role Responsibility:
The postholder will:
- Report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, deputizing as required
- Assist and support with the planning and developing of the feeding plans
- Coordinate and operate the feeding voucher system
- Consult with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure that the pre-Games time feeding arrangements meet operational and welfare requirements
- Liaise with accomodation sites to ensure the the feeding arrangements are fit for purpose
- Support and manage deployed Food and Beverage On-site Coordinators
- Ensure that the voucher feeding arrangments integrate fully with the staff scheduling systems
- Support, manage and escalate any issues requiring resolution at Management level
This contract is very dynamic so please be aware that roles and duties will change as the contract progresses.

- Have a record of working within budgetary frameworks
- Be adaptable, resiliant and have excellent attention to detail
- Be a confident, concise communicator
- Have people managment experience with the ability to manage staff time
- Have an understanding of event managment demands
- Be an excellent team worker with leadership and influencing skills
- Be an disciplined self starter
A Catering Management or Events Management background or similar experience in this kind of role is highly desirable
