better understand the sales process for new cars in Thailand and would like to interview
salespeople / showroom managers. My questions should only take 10-15 minutes.

ADN is conducting general market research to understand how new cars are purchased
in Thailand. We will not ask for any proprietary or confidential information.
Will my name / information be shared?
Our process is 100% anonymous and confidential. Your name / company will not be
shared.
If you are finding it difficult to get people to talk to us, we can try offer a small amount of
money – ADN will make a 250 or 300 THB deposit into their bank account within 24
hours (ask for their bank account #).
Overall sales strategy
When customers ask for the price for a vehicle, how do you know what discount
to give?
- Do you give the maximum discount right away?
- Do you base it on how much you think the customer is willing to pay?
- Is there a discount amount you "hold back" for the final negotiation?
Final negotiation
When customers are in the final negotiation to buy a car, do you often give
additional discounts to "close the deal"?
On average how much is the additional discount in the final negotiation? What's
the maximum additional discount? What's the minimum?
What determines how much additional discount you give in the final negotiation?
Does the amount of additional discount in the final negotiation change from
month to month (yes/no)? Why? Why not?
