Both are important but even in a capitalistic society, health is the root of all biological organisms (we are not pieces of metal) Both health and money are important, but I do not believe they are equally important. Cons will put a heavy emphasis on how money makes everything go round, but we practically need health more than money. Money is required for very low-income brackets, but as you get higher, you will find that you need health increasingly more. This question is also dependent on age. Health is the number 1 political concern for seniors.

Money can only do so much to save a life Money only goes so far in saving lives, good health on the other hand is without end. Of course health will deteriorate in later years, and through time, but without money, one can die before they become miserable in poor health. On the other hand, one with money will suffer in poor health for years, due to medical interventions which keep them alive.

It takes money to stay in good health. But health is more important. If you avoid spending money in your health, you will end up having none of either.
Taking care of your finances only and neglecting your health will have nasty consequences in how much money you can get, which in turn will negatively affect your health. It is circular logic.
