As you may know I came across a file for Chavapat, where the first report had not been issued after almost 2 years. Further review identified a further file for which a first report had not been issued after 14 months.
I note from a quick check of Puripong’s files that there are two cases which are more than 3 months old where no first report has been issued, namely BKK315031 and BKK315162.
Our service standards require issue of a first report with 10 working days.
It is important that we do not allow cases such as Chavapat’s to occur again in the future as this will undoubtedly lead to criticism from Insurers, particularly as it involved a large increase in reserve.
We need to undertake some form of monthly review to see what reports are outstanding and if necessary Matt and I can assist with issuing reports even if they contain limited information.
