B Could we breathe on Mars?
Scientists have learned that Mars seems to be the planet with the best conditions for life, after Earth. However, if people went to live on Mars tomorrow, they wouldn't be able to breathe. if we compare the air on Earth with that on Mars, we'll see why not. the air on Mars is mainly made up of carbon dioxide 95.32% , with 2.7% nitrogen, 1.6% argon and only 0.13% oxygen. But the air here on Earth is 77% nitrogen and 21% oxygen with a small amount of hydrogen and other gases.
