A new purpose built floating market has just opened in the Central Region of Thailand. Thungbuachom Floating Market offers a wide range of products from the 4 regions of Thailand, including souvenirs, farm produce and local delicacies. There are a lot of things for visitors to enjoy, such as a miniature city, waxworks of revered Buddhist monks and an auto museum. They can also watch a variety of shows that portray Thai traditions and culture. The new floating market is situated on a 25-rai piece of land on the outbound side of Phaholyothin Road in Wang Noi district of Ayutthaya province. Approximately 100 million baht was spent to build the market.
