About the role
The Nutrition Advisor will provide the expertise necessary to guide the development, implementation and evaluation of the food supply and nutrition priorities of the Victorian Division of the Heart Foundation. This position also contributes to the Heart Foundation's national food supply and nutrition agenda by working collaboratively with similar positions in the National Company and other Divisions.
In this role, you will:
Build relationships with key agencies, training institutions and other stakeholders in order to progress the Heart Foundation's nutrition agenda
Provide nutrition and food supply expertise, as required, internally and externally
Be the Heart Foundation spokesperson (including for media) on food and nutrition matters in Victoria.
You will have nutrition or dietetics qualifications and strong public health nutrition and/or health promotion experience. Your ability to build partnerships, coalitions and/or networks to ensure successful outcomes will be paramount.

Key Selection Criteria:
Experience in public health nutrition and/or health promotion
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and evaluating food and nutrition work plans and projects
Demonstrated experience preparing information such as briefings, submissions and publications on food supply and nutrition issues for a diversity of audiences
Capability and/or experience in dealing with and presenting to media, public forums and professional organisations.
Demonstrated experience in attracting external funding through the preparation of submissions and tenders
