The results showed that HHPE exhibited the highest total
polyphenolic content, followed by UAE and CE. The TPP content of
Chilean papaya seeds significantly increased (p 0.05) with
different extraction methods, from 3.9%, 13.1% and 19.2% for UAE at
5 min, 10 min and 15 min, respectively, to 70.0%, 92.1% and 111.7%
for HHPE at 500 MPa for 5 min, 10 min and 15 min, respectively,
when compared with conventional extraction (see Fig. 3).
Furthermore, the TPP content of Chilean papaya seeds was
