Dear All,
As presented in the staff briefing on the 30th May,16(BKK Office) and 31st May,16(LKU/SKL Base), this is to officially confirm that the above will be implemented effective this June,16.
I have explain in length the critical business need for us to implement this scheme instead having to further “lay off staff. I know how hard this will have an effect on individual financial situation but really this is not an option at this difficult time. I hope that our low revenue situation will improve in the next few months and for me to announce the discontinuation of this LWOP.
I would also like to emphasise that our business performance as far as our shareholders are concern is based on the overall company performance and not based on the individual business unit performance. I am mindful that some business unit are not performing to expectation at the moment but as explained, this is due to the suspension of work activities by our clients due to budget constraint. If there is a further need to explain this important issue to staff who were not able to attend the earlier briefing, you may request to have another face to face briefing by your respective Divisional/Department Managers or even from myself.
For administrative purposes, it is a requirement for staff to acknowledge/ signed acceptance for the implementation of this scheme for the reasons given. All the signed letters are to be returned to the respective assigned focal point at the respective location latest by the 10th June,16. HRA will be sending the forms to all individuals via the respective Divisional/Department Manager shortly.
