Participants
Convenience sampling was used to select participants (N= 357) who had purchased CSGs, with links to an online survey posted on 10 sports-related discussion boards. Questionnaires completed in under two minutes were eliminated to avoid invalid responses. After the elimination process, 333 valid questionnaires were used. Of the respondents, 55.6% (n= 185) were men and 44.4% (n= 148) were women. Most were aged between 21-30 years (59.5%, n= 198) or under 20 years (24.9%, n= 83), with the rest aged over 30 years (15.6%, n= 52). In addition, 45.9% (n= 153) had purchased CSGs through the Internet, and 54.1% (n= 180) had purchased CSGs from street vendors or at
physical stores.
